BYU is #1 for the 11th consecutive year!
July 29, 2008
We former Cougars are used to being #1. In fact, this is the 11th year in the row, where Brigham Young University is in first place. In what ranking, you ask?
Academics and research?
Nope.
Football?
Yeah, right.
No, friends, this win is much more illustrious, because for the 11th consecutive year, BYU has been the #1 Stone-Cold Sober School. Little do they know that sometimes I would drink Cherry Coke if I wanted to stay up late.

That reminds me of my favorite BYU joke:
Q: What does a BYU coed do when someone brings beer to a party?
A: Puts on her shirt and goes home.

Woo-hoo! I’m so proud to be a Cougar. Now I wish we could just get a little closer to #1 in some of those other areas.

Is there a category for Best Bookstore Fudge? We’d sweep that category too.

At one point, it was the Fittest College campus: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,168854,00.html
To be fair, this WAS a few years after the novelty of the Orem Krispy Kreme had worn off. GO TEAM KREME!

BYU will once more reach great heights in football, of that I have no doubt. Too many resources and tradition going. And who can deny the power of the Internet…I never thought when I woke up this morning I’d be peering into the Cougar bookstore faced with the dilemma of buying or not buying their fudge. And how can you be in the running for “fittest” college if you’re schlepping fudge on the student body’s…bodies?
