Happy National Doughnut Day

It is a very special holiday… a HOLE-liday!
This blog exists, largely, because of donuts. The two founding members of this blog were also the founding members of Team Kreme, camping out to hail in the first Krispy Kreme in Utah Valley. Tonight JL and Sara Francis are both in my heart.
Please, in the comments share your favorite donut establishments around this fine globe…
I’ll start out.
Krispy Kreme – the original glaze (a classic)
Dunkin Donuts – Boston Kreme (the worst thing about California is the lack of Dunkins when you really need them)

I think Dunkin is superior to Krispy Kreme.
Is that heresy here?

I’m going to admit this publicly – I don’t really like donuts. They don’t taste that good and they make you feel horrible all day long. But if I had to choose I would definitely say dunkin donuts is far superior to Krispy Kreme. I don’t even waste my time, calories, money eating Krispy Kreme donuts. Sorry LeMare and JL.

Ah, but California has the beloved Winchell’s!
And Maret…if you ever find yourself in Livermore, don’t miss the chance to stop by Donut Wheel, open 24×7!
