Take it ALL off…

Never stop learning.  That is my philosophy, and since you are reading our highly educational blog, you are most CERTAINLY pre-occupied with your own continuing education.

On Saturday, promptly after my friend arrived from New York, I dragged her to a class with my coworker and her friends…  My quadriceps have have a whole new respect for Carmen Electra.  The hamstrings, too.

To find the class, I was told to look for the the yellow poll on the corner of Laflin and VanBueren with a red feather boa tied around it.  “Keep driving!” I encouraged the cab driver, “And keep your eyes open for a red feather boa!”  Upon entering, I was immediately relieved that I had dropped a couple Dayquil to remove some of my inhabitions…

Mercifully, no clothes were shed, and despite the fact that she made us do push ups and squats, I had a grand time.  What was my favorite part?  That’s like asking Nancy Kerrigan her favorite part of her long program.

I highly recommend this educational course and can’t help but think that it would be a lovely mother-daughter activity for any of you enlightened readers.  Just don’t forget the Dayquil.
