Celebrities in Our Midst

Rarely do we have such vicarious encounters with the bright lights of Hollywood. (Disneyland yes, but the Emmies, never!) On Sunday night our West Coast Entertainment Correspondent, Kowalski, attended the Emmies in grand style, and captured television’s best and brightest hopes for the world to enjoy. Since my most dazzling celebrity encounters pale in comparison (i.e. John Stamos, aka Uncle Jesse, filming a scene in NYC at a hot dog stand) these pictures truly excited me. For a full account of Kowalski and friend’s Emmy shenanigans, please click here. And on we move to the pictures that Perez Hilton would die to have:

And now for the most critical shots of the night, beloved stars of Emmy-winning shows The Office and 30 Rock:

Stanley isn’t as gruff as he acts on television

And a final note on celebrity action, look out for the upcoming edition of “Notes from the Field,” where our daring sister missionary in Los Angeles shares her run-in with Alex Trebec and a post-suicide attempt Owen Wilson.

Love Kenneth the Page. Does he have a real name? And, they probably told Stanley it was pretzel day in order to get him to smile like that.

Jack McBrayer is Kenneth’s real name.

And I am very intrigued to read about the sister missionary’s run-ins.

Thank you for including me on your blog! I feel so honored. We had a great time “stalking” the Office cast. Seeing them made me giddy. They were so funny and charismatic once we talked to them. I was tempted to start quoting lines, but I held back and just laughed at their jokes. Stanley was a charmer.

Kirsten, you look ravishing… I hope you exchanged digits with Phyllis and Stanley! Wouldn’t it be lovely to have them over for dinner parties?

Kirsten! Why did you not call me to join you on your Emmy stalkings! I would have left the baby at home I promise:) I love it that you met Phyllis! How did you get that close to the red carpet and attend an after party? I am impressed! And I agree, you look fabulous.
