Senate Democrats refused yesterday to open up American energy reserves for deep-sea exploration, even if that means the cost of gas goes up to $10 a gallon.

The term that came to mind for me was “inglorious bastards.”

I’m having trouble keeping up with the shifting positions of both candidates for the White House, but is it not true Sen. McCain was against this as well at one time? I may be mistaken but I thought I heard he put Florida back into play by now being for it. Is this correct? Heck, until the FAA fully refines the Star Trek transporting system for public use, we’re gonna pay whatever the pump says…

I’m pretty sure Senator McCain is against drilling ANWR which makes no sense.

Paying at the pump is one thing, but increasing our trade deficit and further devaluing our dollar has more implications.

And the most profound implications of our reliance on foreign oil, aside from economic STUPIDITY to not use our own resources, is that we are putting money in the hands of people who want to KILL us.
